paleo diet, grains/gluten
The first half of the book is devoted to explaining the "whys" behind paleo. The final chapters cover how to eat paleo and contain sample meals. At times, I wasn't a fan of his tone but maybe I wasn't the target audience. Also in some chapters his explanations were mostly anecdotes instead of scientific explanations and often the meat of the argument was left out and simply references in the sources. However, the chapter on grains was eye-opening and I had not heard any of this information elsewhere.
If you don't pick up the book, it's still worthwhile searching for more information about how grains are digested and their negative impact on your body. Here is an excerpt from the book.
